Most common cause of tendinitis that affects the elbow. Most common symptoms are elbow pain and weakness that become apparent doing simple activities like rotating a door knob or objects gripping or holding cup of tea or coffee. Most common causes are sports like Tennis, occupations that involve repetitive motions of the wrist and arm like electricians, gardeners, and cooks. Diagnosis is made via history taking and examination. Treatment includes but not limited to anti-inflammatory medications, elbow splint/brace, steriod/cortisone injections, physical therapy.
